Dr. Andrew Humphrey (Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço, Porto) works with many INAF- OAS Bologna researchers in the context of the Euclid collaboration, but he’s member of many other international collaborations like 4MOST / 4HS, SKA, MOONS / MOONRISE, ATHENA, BlueMUSE. His research interests include observational studies of galaxies at moderate to high redshift using imaging and spectroscopy, aided by numerical models to examine the role of quasar and radio-mode feedback activity in the evolution of galaxies across cosmic time, and to elucidate diagnostics of active galactic nuclei (AGN). In the last years he explored the exploitation of very large astronomical datasets using machine learning methods, with a view to participating in preparation for, and eventually science with, Euclid survey observations.
