Galactic Archaeology with Gaia and ages: from most metal poor to most metal rich stars

In this talk I first present the multi-dimension maps we now have for our Galaxy when combining Gaia, photometry and spectroscopy. Using different maps, and sub-samples for which ages are known with good precision, I will discuss some of the new constraints to the formation of our Galaxy. I will finalize with a summary of the 4midable-LR survey that should start in 2025 as part of the 4MOST telescope.
