Dal marzo 2022 sono Addetto Scientifico per la Svizzera presso il Consolato Generale d'Italia a Zurigo. In questa funzione, sono responsabile della promozione delle collaborazioni bilaterali in ambito scientifico e tecnologico. In precedenza, ho lavorato per oltre venti anni in progetti scientifici internazionali e attività gestionale di progetti spaziali e da terra, principalmente in campo astrofisico, di trasferimento tecnologico e di fisica dell’atmosfera. La mia area principale di attività è la realizzazione di strumentazione complessa per missioni spaziali ESA (Planck, Euclid, PLATO, Athena), in collaborazione con grandi industrie del settore e PMI. Sono docente a contratto presso l’Università di Genova e la Fondazione Alma Mater dell'Università di Bologna e consulente/formatore presso industrie spaziali. Sono stato insignito del premio Gruber 2018 della Yale Foundation, come persona chiave per il successo del satellite Planck.
