Curriculum vitae

I am a postdoc who has been working in cosmology for several years. I graduated with honors in Astrophysics at the University of Bologna in 2007. I received my PhD in Astroparticle Physics at the University of Ferrara in 2011. Thanks to the participation of the University of Ferrara in the IDAPP program (International Doctorate on AstroParticle Physics), I also obtained a French PhD at the University of Paris Diderot-Paris VII. Since my PhD I have always been involved in research through various postdoc contracts at INAF-IASF, now INAF-OAS. I am currently a fixed term researcher always at INAF-OAS Bologna in the COSMOS (Cosmic Orbital and Sub-orbital Microwave Observations) project funded by ASI. The main area of my research is cosmology, in particular, the study of cosmic microwave background radiation and the large-scale structure of the Universe. I work on theoretical modeling, predictions of cosmological observables, analysis and scientific interpretation of CMB data. I have been continuosly working since 2007 on the study of cosmic magnetism and in particular on the study of primordial magnetic fields and their impact on CMB and LSS. I am the author of one of the Einstein-Boltzmann codes which include the contribution of primordial magnetic fields on CMB anisotropies and LSS (based on the public code camb) and as of beginning of 2021 the only including both the gravitational and ionization history contributions. I have been working in the recent years on reionization and in particular on the study of reionization epoch through CMB by means of both extended models and non-parametric reconstructions using the combination of CMB and astrophysical data. I have been working on early Universe, studying the constraints on models of inflation through CMB data, and studying isocurvature perturbations. I have been working also in modified models of gravity and in particular scalar tensor theories of gravity. I am a member of the LiteBIRD collaboration as part of Foreground JSG and the Isotropy and Statistics dedicated group. I have been a member of the Planck collaboration since 2008 and I participated in the activities of the working group of inflation, cosmological parameters, likelihood, I was also internal referee for the Non-Gaussianity group, and I was the coordinator of the working group dedicated to the study of primordial magnetic fields and I am the corresponding author of the dedicated Planck 2015 Results article. I was a member of the CORE collaboration and I participated in the activities of forecasts and preparation of the data analysis tools. I participated to the Voyage 2050 proposal for a CMB mission. I am a member of the Euclid collaboration and participate in the forecasts activities for cross-correlation with the CMB and the theory's working group in the initial conditions working package working on isocurvatures. In parallel to the research I have developed, also completing the participation in dedicated courses, excellent skills in outreach/education (60 CFU diploma di perfezionamento in "Theory and method in the use of multimedia technologies in teaching: addressed for scientific high school" and 27 CFU course in pedagogy, anthropology and educational sciences ) and in the organization of conferences (Accademia domani: "Event planner & Manager " certification) with a 10+ years of experience in conferences organization. I also developed skills in digital art and I have been curating the graphical production of several conferences. I am also a traditional artist in painting, drawing and crafting.
