In this epoch of large observational projects, the so-called "data deluge" of the "industrial astronomy" era, it becomes increasingly difficult to make an effective use of all the available data-sets in a comprehensive way. Like in many other research groups, we started combining some surveys for our own scientific goals, which are: (1) the characterization of stars hosting planets, (2) the chemodynamical study of stellar clusters, and (3) galactic archaeology. We immediately realized the magnitude and complexity of the task, and the potential impact that a critically compiled, precisely homogenized, and accurately calibrated catalogue of all measurements by stellar spectroscopic surveys would have. We thus started the SoS, which exploits the sophisticated cross-match algorithm used for the Gaia mission, our knowledge of stellar spectroscopic surveys, and our expertise in inter-calibrations. We have already published a prototype of the SoS, the largest compilation to date of 11 million radial velocity measurements (Tsantaki et al. 2022), which was extremely well received. We are now working on a similar catalogue for the stellar parameters of about 5-6 million stars from spectroscopy, and 200 million stars from photometry with machine and deep learning. I will present the project status and describe the expected results. I will be particularly interested in comments and "requests" from the audience.
