The redshifted 21-cm line is likely the most promising probe of cosmic reionization (6 < z < 15) and likely the only probe of the Cosmic Dawn (15 < z < 45) and the Dark Ages (45 < z < 200). In my talk I will briefly review the physics of the 21-cm emission at high redshift, discuss where we currently stand with respect to its (still elusive) detection and what will be possible with the upcoming instrumentation
