Although the concordance model of cosmology, Lambda-CDM, has been established fairly well observationally, there are fundamental questions unanswered from the particle physics point of view. Precision measurements of CMB polarization are the key to resolving these mysteries. In this seminar, I will summarize the current status of CMB polarization projects and discuss future prospects, with some emphasis on LiteBIRD, the Lite (Light) spacecraft for the study of B-mode polarization and Inflation from cosmic background Radiation Detection, which is a JAXA-led space mission for primordial cosmology and fundamental physics.
